With the deep application of artificial intelligence technology in the field of education, the universities in southern Africa, namely Zambia, are undergoing a profound transformation in their teaching models. On May 12th, the UNESCO Higher Education Innovation Center (Shenzhen, China) (referred to as "Innovation Center") jointly held the "Artificial Intelligence (AI)-Driven Higher Education: High-Level Training and Memorandum of Understanding Signing Ceremony" with Mulungushi University (IIOE National Center in Zambia). The Zambia Minister of Education, Mr. Douglas Syakalima, the President of Mulungushi University, Professor Royson Mukwena, the Deputy Director of the Innovation Center, Ms. Bi Xiaohan, the Head of the International Partners Program Department of the Innovation Center, Mr. Cao Zianan, the Overseas Market Director of Guangzhou Dazzleview Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as "DazzleView Intelligent"), and Ms. Jiang Suying, the Director of the Overseas Market Department of DazzleView Intelligent, all attended the event. They discussed with representatives from Zambia's government agencies, leaders of higher education institutions, international organizations, and industry representatives the far-reaching impact of generative artificial intelligence applications in the education sector on policies and institutional governance frameworks.

     The participants engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as how artificial intelligence reshapes teaching methods and assessment systems, and shared successful practices of integrating artificial intelligence tools into courses.

        Professor Royson Mukwena, the president of Mulungushi University, highly praised the significant role played by the Innovation Center in policy guidance, the establishment of a global resource network, and the construction of digital education platforms. He expressed his expectation to deepen cooperation with partner universities, the Innovation Center, and DazzleView Intelligent, jointly promoting the innovative application of artificial intelligence in higher education.

       Ms. Bi Xiaohan, the deputy director of the Innovation Center, emphasized during the event that the Innovation Center is committed to closely collaborating with the IIOE Zambia National Center to jointly create a model for the digital transformation of higher education. She pointed out that although artificial intelligence brings great potential for teaching reform, its successful application depends on scientific strategic planning, inclusive implementation paths, and international cooperation. The platform, courses and training of IIOE will strongly support the Zambia National Artificial Intelligence Education Agenda.

       The overseas marketing director of DazzleView Intelligent delivered a speech titled "How Artificial Intelligence Empowers the Transformation and Collaboration of Higher Education", presenting how DazzleView Intelligent, as a global leading provider of AI intelligent display terminals, supports the innovation of higher education by building an AIGC (Artificial Intelligence Generated Content) industry ecosystem. The speech also highlighted three core projects of DazzleView Intelligent: the construction of smart classrooms, the establishment of AI course systems, and AI talent cultivation.

     During the meeting, DazzleView Intelligent and Mulungushi University officially signed a smart classroom cooperation agreement under the leadership of the Innovation Center and with the academic support of Southern University of Science and Technology. This marked that DazzleView Intelligent's smart education solution would be implemented in Zambia, injecting new impetus into the digital upgrade of local higher education.

       Both parties are highly confident and expectant about this cooperation. DazzleView Intelligent will provide Mu Lunguishi University with advanced smart classroom equipment, technical training, and continuous operational support, helping the school create a smart teaching model and setting a new benchmark for higher education development in Zambia. At the same time, DazzleView Intelligent will adhere to the concept of technology empowerment and resource sharing, collaborate closely with the Innovation Center, IIOE Zambia National Center, and various universities, firmly support the construction of the IIOE Zambia National Center, and help it become a model for higher education digital transformation in Southern Africa and beyond.
